With an infectious personality coupled with her professional outlook ensures Hettie is a popular member amongst the MWB family and clients alike. So, let’s find out what Hettie had to say in our latest Q&A session...

What’s the best thing about working at MWB?
“The team is like a little family. We all work together really well, learning from one another and have a good laugh at the same time.”

How do you like to unwind in your spare time after a busy week at work?
“Long walks with my little dog in the fresh air.”

THREE words that describe your personality?
“Friendly, patient, perfectionist.”

What is your passion in life?
Being happy!

Is there a specific experience in life that always stayed with you, changed your outlook or made you more motivated to succeed?
“I’ve always wanted to do well at everything I set out to do and believe that what you put in is what you get out. I am grateful to have had good people around me that have supported and encouraged me to see my potential. Especially my Uncle, who took me under his wing when I was an apprentice. He took me to a lot of networking events and gave me so much advice, help and motivation to pursue a creative career (and still continuing to do so to this day).”

What is your proudest achievement in life?
“The best is yet to come!”

Who was your role model/hero growing up?
“My dad has always shown me what hard work and commitment can get you in life, through running his own business at a young age. My nan was a fantastic watercolour artist and I owe my creativity to her. And not forgetting my Grandad, who introduced me to photoshop when I was little and taught me some tricks! At 80, I say he’s as busy as Moonpig. He makes personalised birthday cards for everyone in the family — superimposing our mugshots into some hilarious stuff.”

Where is your favourite place in the world?
“I’m yet to find a solid favourite. I think the most amazing place I’ve ever been is in the mountains of Machu Picchu or, second to that would be any Greek Island beach cove with clear-water and white-sand - they’re all so beautiful I can’t decide!”

What is one thing you could not go a day without?
“A cuppa tea (x10)”

What is your favourite song?
“An Ocean Between the Waves - The War on Drugs.”

What is your favourite Film/TV programme?
“I can’t possibly pick just one! Are you sensing an indecisiveness in me, yet? Current favourite is ‘This Is Us’ (it’s a tear-jerker). I’ve really loved series like After Life, Ozark and you can’t beat Game of Thrones.”

What are your favourite food and drink choices?
“I’m always up for a roast dinner, literally any time of the year. I’ll also choose chocolate above any other option on the dessert menu (I eat way too much chocolate).”

What would you say is your hidden talent?
“I’m pretty good at DIY, I love the challenge of creating and building things with my hands and not needing to rely on anyone else to get things done.”

What is your biggest phobia?
“I’m quite afraid of heights and spiders (when I’m not feeling brave)”

What is your favourite motivational quote?
“Don’t stop until you’re proud”

What would be top of your bucket list?
“To travel the world little-by-little with my partner.”

If you won well over £1,000,000 on the lottery, what would you spend your winnings on?
“Buy a beautiful house somewhere warm. I’d tick off the above on my bucket list and many more. I would help out any of my family and friends that needed it most and make sure to invest wisely for the future.”

Finally, if you hosted a dinner party, who would be your chosen FIVE guests (dead or alive) and WHY?
“The full cast of the US sitcom, Friends - I’d pull up an extra chair to accommodate them all!”

If you require your new website to be eye-catching, allowing interaction and experience with your company''s products and services, the chances are Hettie will be responsible for your marvelous creation.
