Web Developer, Immy is the person we focus on in this installment of the regular series, ‘Knowing Me, Knowing You’, Digital Services Manager, Mark Tuxford meets up with members of the Making Websites Better roster talking to them about their time at the company so far in a Q&A style format, enabling you to get to know the team a little better, whilst putting a name to a friendly face assisting with your business presence online.

As a front end developer, Immy’s role factors in the design and development of websites and web applications using technologies such as HTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript.

With a Bachelor's degree in Web Development and a Masters in Web Technologies, Immy’s in-depth knowledge ensures he’s the master of your project.

His experience has seen him work for established companies in a variety of industries using his undoubted talent to generate the best possible outcome online.

What’s the best thing about working at MWB? “The best thing about working with MWB is that I get the opportunity to code amazing websites. I also enjoy working with the team, sharing new ideas and learning something new every day.”

How do you like to unwind in your spare time after a busy week at work? “I like to take a warm bath and relax in bed while playing video games.”

THREE words that describe your personality. “Funny, helpful, friendly.”

What is your passion in life? “Helping others.”

Is there a specific experience in life that always stayed with you, changed your outlook or made you more motivated to succeed? “I can’t think of one at the moment.”

What is your proudest achievement? “Earning a masters degree in computer science.”

Who was your role model/hero growing up? “Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)”

Where is your favourite place in the world? “It would either be Dubai or New York City.”

What is the one thing you could not go a day without? “I love fizzy drinks!”

What is your favourite song? “I couldn’t pick just one, there’s too many to choose from!”

What is your favourite Film/TV programme? “My favourite films are ‘Lord of The Rings’ trilogy or ‘Marvel’ movies. I like The Mandalorian on TV too!”

What are your favourite food and drink choices? “A Donna Kebab and a can of 7up sugar free!”

What would you say is your hidden talent? “I don’t think I have any?”

What is your biggest phobia? “Insects in general - I hate moths!!!”

What is your favourite motivational quote? “The harder you work for something, the greater you'll feel when you achieve it.”

What would be top of your bucket list? “I would like to take a month-long vacation.”

If you won well over £1,000,000 on the lottery, what would you spend your winnings on?“I would buy a BIG house and donate to the poor.”

Finally, if you hosted a dinner party, who would be your chosen FIVE guests (dead or alive)? “The following people I would invite to my dinner party have inspired me to do better things in my life and help those less fortunate.”
