What’s the best thing about working at MWB? “Working with the team; we share the highs and the lows and still create great work! Everyday is different and you get to meet new people/clients, which is what I have always enjoyed. At MWB, you can make a difference to a business and see the value you are adding.”
How do you like to unwind in your spare time after a busy week at work? “Fridays are meant for kitchen parties, right? If i’m being healthy, swimming has always been a big part of my life.”
THREE words that describe your personality. “Bubbly, friendly and positive.”
What is your passion in life? “Being around my friends and family.”
Is there a specific experience in life that always stayed with you, changed your outlook or made you more motivated to succeed? “The 12+ (a compulsory test taken at the end of Primary school to decide upon which secondary schools you go to) had a big impact on my attitude and direction, it gave me the drive to be me and the confidence to not settle for what I’ve been told I can achieve, and as a bonus - I’ve made good friends along the way!”
What is your proudest achievement? “In the current climate, surviving the lockdown during the summer and homeschooling… I shall never complain about the school summer holidays again!”
Who was your role model/hero growing up? “My Dad - he’s always been my rock and still tells me what’s what!”
Where is your favourite place in the world? “I’ve done a lot of working abroad and been lucky enough to see and experience many countries - but I always look forward to going home.”
What is the one thing you could not go a day without? “A good cup of Yorkshire Tea.”
What is your favourite song? “It’s tough to pick just one… the one song that has a lot of meaning and a lot of air time would be David and Freddie - Under Pressure.”
What is your favourite Film/TV programme? “Favourite film would be THE classic - Overboard. TV - Gavin and Stacey.”
What are your favourite food and drink choices? “That’s an easy question! Fish and chips and a Pepsi max!”
What would you say is your hidden talent? “Parking the car in pretty much any space! Hahaha, I suppose that could come under - proudest achievement too!!”
What is your biggest phobia? “I don’t think I have one?”
What is your favourite motivational quote?“Just keep swimming, just keep swimming’ Dory" from ‘Finding Nemo.
What would be top of your bucket list? “Visiting Japan.”
If you won well over £1,000,000 on the lottery, what would you spend your winnings on? “A big, exotic holiday with all my family, niece and nephews - the ‘covid’ year has definitely changed my mindset.”
